Why Is The Temporal Artery

Because the termporal artery is directly connected to the heart through the carotid artery, it has the constant blood flow required for accurate measurement. The measured temperature is relatively stable and close to the temperature of the human heart. Compared with spot-type forehead thermometers, it has higher accuracy and can more accurately reflect changes in body temerature or fever.
